Managed 1,800 abstract submissions and 6,000 registration applications working through OASIS and Cvent systems.

Smart Meetings Magazine, Sausalito CA (2012-2012)

Meeting and Events Manager organizing national speed monthly meetings between hotels and meeting planners with the goal of specific and expedited client/customer connections. Solicited meeting planners, negotiated hotel contracts for meeting and event space, AV, F&B, and detailed and approved all final bills. Collaborated with marketing on design and verbiage for mailings to 150 meeting planners per meeting. Procured a 25-30% national hotel room block rate reduction to meet budget restraints. Identified and solicited donated items and services from local and national companies resulting in an average savings of $20,000 per meeting. Developed air discounts and managed flight reservations for 100-150 meeting attendees.
