ACADEMIC PROJECTS

Robotic Exoskeleton August 2017- December 2017

• Designed and 3D printed a robotic exoskeleton using SOLIDWORKS by modeling the solid parts in accordance to the dimensions of an average human body.

• Analyzed and simulated the stresses acting on the model by setting up the constraints and loads.

• Conducted motion and thermal simulations of entire model to check the feasibility of the design.

• The design was feasible structurally under maximum torque condition and actuator units supported a 100 kg user.

Structural Analysis of Finite Element Model October 2017-December 2017

• Finite element methodologies(FEM) were used to analyze the problem of a plate with center hole to find the maximum principal stresses and their locations by using ANSYS.

• The quadrilateral 4 node and quadrilateral 8 node elements of steel was used for this study.

• The maximum stresses were located around the circumference of a center hole.
