"EXPERIMENTAL ANALYSIS OF PRE INDUCED DEFECTS ON CARBON

EPOXY LAMINATE"

We induced some artificial defects like delamination and fibre cut in carbon eoxy laminate. These two types of specimens are to be tested in fatigue testing (3 point bending failure) to estimate the strength of composite in various specimens.With this corrected actual strength values resolve the percentage of reduced strength for various recognized defects and accordingly provide the additional composite material composite material in the defected area rather than replacing the whole component.

ACHIVEMENTS
