Overall field gas pressure is predicted to decline from 2014 which will result in the minimum suction pressure for the HP compressors not being achieved. Therefore, gas turbine driven low pressure turbines are to be installed progressively to maintain the required inlet pressure to the existing HP Compressors. Two will be installed in 2014, a third in 2019, and a fourth in 2024. The full civil foundations and structures for all 4 compressors will be installed in the first phase together with all scrubbers and air fin coolers, and a new substation. Additional scope includes additional site instrument air compressor and coolers, and additional nitrogen generator together with associated piping, electrical, instrument and control system work. A FEED study prepared by Fluor UK is provided by Client, the Project includes Detailed Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management, (EPCm). The initial two LP Compressors were selected and placed on order by Sasol during the FEED stage as long lead items. The piping tie-ins need to be carried out during an 8-hour shutdown toward the end of December 2013. All other work must be carried out without interruption to the gas flow. The “ready for commissioning” date is 24th November 2014, commissioning will be carried out by Sasol. Commissioning assistance by FW, if required, will be on a reimbursable basis. Curriculum Vitae
