By identifying the cost of bottlenecks, rework and non-value-added activity I created a plan to reduce spend and increase revenue using custom built software applications. Hewlett Packard – Program Manager /Logistics and Inventory Control (1995-2011)

My position allowed me to become a valuable team member on multiple projects such as simplifying inventory cycle count processes and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce duplicate touch points. I was involved with the early SAP implementation and configuration (Beta Site) when most modules were still in the German language. In my project team role, I maintained internal SharePoint sites to increase communication between business units and streamline departmental activities. As a US field service inventory account manager, my focus was to reduce inventory cost by control of SKU rationalization and ensuring a single view of enterprise information. One of the major projects I managed was an internal software creation call VIPER, working with IT developers to reduce unnecessary layers of complexity and simplify logistics cost. The value of the Viper software development created cutting-edge technology with a huge impact on the company’s large inventory asset base which resulted in a 98.5% inventory accuracy.

During my many years with the company I was given the opportunity to better my career through employee HPU and External Courses allowing me to become a strategic member of several business units.
