The AXP Global Accounting Reconciliation unit needs a reporting infrastructure to facilitate the pull of information from AXP’s Global Accounts International Reconciliation Information System (IRIS) and GUI for the creation and delivery of reports to end users worldwide.

American Express has selected the IntelliSuite product from SunGard to enable the implementation of the POA Reconciliations process. The IntelliSuite product has major two components. I.e. IntelliMatch and IntelliTracs. The IntelliMatch product consists of the matching engine for both automatic and manual matches. The IntelliTracs product consists of the Research and Clearance modules, Notification, Escalation and creation of automated Journal entries.

The current project is for building a reporting solution on top of this Application which will be across the Reconciliation division to improve the standardization, automation, accuracy, timeliness, comprehensiveness, relevance, and personalization of performance, monitoring and reporting across the business.

The implementation will be across American Express and its customers. The reports to be delivered will cover all phases of the reconciliation process.
