Company is a manufacturer of Industrial Batch Mixers and Soft Mud Molded Brick Machines. The mixers are primarily used in the ceramic and refractory industries. The mixers are marketed worldwide. One major use is in the manufacture of flat screen glass. The brick machines are primarily in the eastern portion of the US. Handled all spare parts orders and managed the warehouse.

Product Manager July 1992 to April 2018

Managed the product line for Kercher Industries. This was primarily the industrial mixer product line. But also included the molded brick machines. Duties included quoting both new equipment and all spare parts, entering customer orders for both new equipment and spare parts into our ERP system (Visual Manufacturing). Interacting with customers working with them. For new equipment this would involve working with the customer and engineering to semi-customize the equipment to meet the customer's requirements. Also working with existing customers to recommend the required spare parts. Was also responsible for all supply orders, both for purchased and manufactured parts. Scheduled and made arrangements for all field service calls. Set up schedule and made arrangements for all trade shows. Worked with engineering to upgrade and redesign the soft mud AutoBrik Machine. This was to make the required changes to upgrade from a strictly mechanical drive to a hybrid gear motor and hydraulic unit. This gave greater flexibility to operating the machine. Worked with engineering to develop a larger size Crusher to meet a customer's requirement. Worked with engineering to upgrade the L Series Mixer line to improve the safety of these units.
