EXPERIENCE

1999 PRESENT: COFOUNDER AND PARTNER, TWO-STEPS AHEAD Long-term experience in the Automotive industry (Urban Science, Toyota, Lexus, GM, Honda, Hyundai and many others), with expertise in eLearning for dealer sales and service as well as operational and process training for LMS and multiple software applications. Experience in the Aerospace industry (Hughes, Raytheon, GM and others) including developing large-initiative multi-audience curriculum for Integrated Product Development, Program Management, Change Management and Process Development in support of Baldridge and ISO compliance. Consulting and development projects working with Educadium, Pale Blue Design and GM Sandy Corp.

1994 – 1999: CO-FOUNDER AND PARTNER, SOFTSKILLS INTERACTIVE SoftSkills Interactive specialized in designing computer-based training for PC software and operating systems. One of the first firms to attain Microsoft Certification, the SoftSkills CBT married simulation-based keystroke training to application case studies. Diana:

Supported the design and development of complex media authoring systems that allow creative branching and interactions between users and the computer.

Managed multiple high value (between $50K and $500K) projects, including training, testing and tracking systems to manage corporate learning.

Helped design and manage the creation of 20 retail products to teach computer and software basics to novice users.

1992 – 1994: AMERICAN BUSINESS ACHIEVEMENT (ABA)

American Business Achievement (ABA) conducts management training and personality assessments for Los Angeles area customers. The company uses Leadership Management System and PREVUE tools as a baseline, but adds in-depth one-on-one counseling and individual training. Diana:

Sold classroom training and personality assessment to local businesses, including Epson America, LAPD, Hughes Aircraft and many other firms.

Conducted personality assessments and feedback using the PREVUE system. Used this application to create job “success patterns” that could be legally used to for hiring and advancement based on personality characteristics.

Launched a custom training development business within ABA, and developed custom training materials for key customers.

1990 – 1992: CRWTH/SRA TECHNOLOGY/MCGRAW HILL

CRWTH was a division of McGraw Hill that designed, developed and marketed leased computer-based training (CBT) for mid-range computer systems and software. Diana:

Sold large training contracts to major corporations such as Merrill Lynch, Prudential Insurance, Deloitte Touche and many more.

Increased the value of existing accounts by upselling additional products, features and services.

Performed all account management responsibilities for East Coast customers. 1985 – 1990: MOREHEAD & COMPANY

Morehead & Company was a marketing consultancy specializing in product launch for high-technology companies. Morehead pioneered the Educational Magazine – a multipurpose print-based document that positioned new products while providing industry education. Diana:

Identified and closed sales of product launch assessment, marketing and training solutions for major high-technology companies, most notably IBM (PS/2 and AIX launches) as well as Xerox, Northern Telecom and AT&T.

Managed accounts and helped manage development projects.

Learned about instructional design and project management. 1983 – 1985: AMERICAN TRAINING INTERNATIONAL (ATI) ATI was the pioneer of Computer-Based Training for PC Software. Founded in 1982 by Dr. Joel Rakow and Dr. Francis Gaskins, ATI sold more than three million products and user licenses for educational solutions. As one of the first employees, Diana:

Performed telemarketing and closed sales with individual customers and large corporations.

Helped initiate a reseller sales network, and managed key distribution accounts.

Launched and managed an OEM and custom training group, with customers such as Digital Equipment, NCR, Gartner Group and many other companies. EDUCATION
