Since 2014 to currently performed Duty as DCS Console Operation (Distributed Control System) operated by Honeywell Experion C200 Distributive Control System.

Operate the DCS (Distributed Control System) for plants startup and shutdown operations in order to meet Company’s objectives and production targets.

Monitor and control all process parameter conditions such as flow rates, pressures, temperatures, levels, etc, through displays, graphics and trend logs.

Communicate with field operators for parameter adjustments in field.

Report to Shift Supervisors in case of parameter abnormalities and process deviations immediately.

Position Held: FIELD OPERATOR (LDPE PROCESS)

Responsibilities include:

1.Perform daily inspection of plant and equipment in oil/gas stations, tank and flare areas and/or water injection units to ensure normal operations, as applicable and document readings such as rates, levels and pressures, flow, line loads, running condition of surface pumps, Reads and enters in daily log book.

2.Checks for any malfunctions, such as line ruptures, valve breaks and blown gaskets, estimates degree of seriousness and takes action accordingly. Includes isolating and shutting down individual plant.

3.Perform minor repairs / detail faults for subsequent preparation of Defect cards. In cases of serious malfunctions, ensures that safety procedures are followed.

4.Operate/Checks valves, lines and pumps/ compressors to meet operating requirements. Include starting up and stabilizing degassing station, water injection units, main oil line pumps manifolds, flow/transfer lines, as appropriate.

5.Participate in all maintenance and inspection activities. Prepares equipment for required job and place back on line upon completion including de-pressurizing/pressurizing, purging, isolating and releasing/ receiving wellhead equipment, transfer lines, trunk line flow lines, etc.

6.Participate in pre-commissioning/commissioning of new wells and facilities.

7.Checks and monitors gas levels at various areas in the plant during maintenance activities. Attends maintenance work to ensure safe operations consistent with related Permit/ Certificate.

8.Prepares wells for wire line, inspection surveys, and breakdown and planned maintenance. Including isolating, spading and depressurizing the system.

9.Open and close wells at wellhead. Changes and adjust production rates as instructed.

10.Operate and monitor process control system. Operate computerized flow analyzers in water injection system.

11.Prepares test separators for testing wells and monitor flow pressure and temperature, prepare related data sheets and maintain test records.

12.Start / stop and monitors chemical injection in central station, remote stations and water injection units. Maintain records of chemical injection rates.
