Jan2015 to Jan 2017- Contract Engineer to Magellan Engineering Services, in San Antonio,Texas

Mechanical System Design Engineer. Produced mechanical system designs for Airbus A340 and Boeing 777. ECS, gray water, potable water, oxygen and vacuum waste systems. Designed installations for grey water tanks and water sterilizer units. Designed installation for CTT humidification system. Performed liaison duties on all mechanical systems. Developed test plans for certification of aircraft.

Jan2014 to Dec 2014- Contract Engineer at GDC Technics, San Antonio,Texas

Mechanical System Design Engineer. Performed Mechanical systems liaison functions. Resolving manufacturing, installation and modification issues associated with ECS, gray water, potable water, and vacuum waste systems. Developed test plans and reports for validating aircraft systems. Performed mechanical systems design efforts for BBJ 737-700 and establishing manpower requirements and schedules. Developed conceptual design schemes for 787 project systems installations.

Nov 2012 to Jan2014- Contract Engineer at Associated Air Center, Dallas, Texas

Mechanical System Design Engineer. Performed Mechanical systems liaison functions. Resolving manufacturing, installation and modification issues associated with gray water, potable water, and vacuum waste systems. Designed the equipment cooling for Airbus A330 aircraft forward and mid sections. Defined the installation of the smoke detection system for the A330. Created Solidwork 3D parasolid to resolve issues and create solutions. All drawings produced using Solidworks drawing module. Currently performing mechanical systems design efforts for 747-8i Aircraft. This includes design of vacuum waste system, medical waste system, gray water system and potable water system. Designing new pallet concept for mounting of potable water components to improve bench assemblies and reduce aircraft installation efforts.

Responsibilities include systems design and modification of gray water, potable water, vacuum waste systems, gasper system and equipment cooling for Airbus A319 and Boeing 737 aircraft. These efforts included aux water tank structure installation and water treatment units. Coordination with outside vendors and subcontractors to define design and final end products. Defined design standards for current and future programs. Solidwork 3D parasolid models generated to defined aircraft parts and installations, data exported to drawings created with AutoCAD 2012.

Mar2008-June2011- Contract Engineer at Associated Air Center, Dallas, Texas

Mechanical System Design Engineer. Responsibilities include system design, modification and integration of the gray water, potable water, vacuum waste, smoke detection and oxygen system for Airbus A319, Boeing 737-700 and Boeing 757-200 aircrafts. These efforts include design of secondary structure such as pressure vessels, installation of valves and water treatment units. Prepared test reports for verification of system performance. Provided MRB liaison support to manufacturing and to aircraft installation. Coordination with outside vendors and subcontractors to define design and final end products. Defined design standards for current and future programs. Solidwork 3D parasolid models generated to defined aircraft parts and installations.

Oct2006-Mar2008- Contract Engineer at Gore Design, San Antonio, Texas

Mechanical System Design Engineer. Responsibilities include system design, modification and integration of the gray water, potable water, vacuum waste, smoke detection and oxygen system for (2) Boeing 737-700 and 767 aircraft. Solidwork 3D parasolid models generated to defined aircraft parts and installations. Complied test reports for verification of system performance. Provided MRB liaison support to manufacturing and aircraft installation. Coordination with outside vendors and subcontractors. Reported to Director of Engineering prior to hire of Systems Design Manager.

Jan2006-Oct2006- Contract Engineer at Associated Air Center, Dallas, Texas

Nov2004-Dec 2005- Contract Engineer at Sino Swearingen, San Antonio Texas

Certification Engineer. Report to Manger of Powerplant and Systems Engineering. Developed Qualification Test Plans and Test Results for various systems components to assure compliance with FAR regulations and RTCA/DO-160. Coordinated with systems design group, DER’s, DAR’s, the Sino Certification Office, Sino Inspection Group, outside vendors and test labs to assure test plans and test results meet the requirements of Sino SCD drawings and test plans.

Nov2003-Oct 2004- Contract Engineer at Associated Air Center, Dallas, Texas

Mechanical Systems Design Engineer. Responsibilities include system modification and integration of the gray water, potable water, oxygen system design and ECS system for Boeing 747 aircraft. Prior to the 747 assisted with various design efforts on Airbus 319, Airbus 320 and Boeing 737.

Dec2002-June2003- Contract Engineer at Completion Air, Inc, East Alton, IL

Design Engineer. Responsible for maintaining burn test coupon database. Responsible for designing modifications of existing galleys and systems design for refurbished lavatories. Provided MRB liaison support to manufacturing and aircraft installation, coordination with outside vendors and suppliers for delivery of aircraft products and services.
