Perrelli Family 451 Forest Rd Northford, CT 06472 2006 – March 2018
My Mother in law came to live with my husband and me in 2003. In 2006 she was diagnosed with Dementia. Dementia is very hard for the family to witness. She deteriorated at a slow to moderate pace. My job was to make sure she was safe. Her license was taken away in 2014. That same year she was diagnosed with Cancer. On my days off I would take her to receive her chemo, to her doctor appointment and made her as comfortable as I could. I would take her out whenever she was able to travel. She went into remission in September 2016 the cancer returned in June 2017. Her wish was to pass away at home so we honored her wish. I worked up till October 2017 when I took care of her until she passed away March 31, 2018.
