Job Responsibilities:

Copmlete operation of boiler, turbine,generator.

Cold start up,hot start up, cold rolling safely start up and shut down in all condition.

Emergency handling of boiler &turbine

Ensuring the safe working of machines

Maintains and updates records and reports. e.g. Generation of shift reports, performance monitoring reports, day reports, power consumption reports and all other routine reports.

Review and monitor day to day maintenance practices. Find out the gap, analyses, suggest and guide the site personal for improvements

Responsible to upgrade the technical diary for AHP area by referring the O&M manual and preparing and following up of SOP`s for trouble free and efficient operation

Carrying out routine checks of ESP, APH and ECO ash conveying system to ensure its healthiness and readiness as and when required.

Check Cooling tower,condenser,heater performance

Maintenance of fly ash generation and disposed database and planning accordingly the arrangement of ash loading bulkers.

Planning and coordination with internal and external departments for smooth running of the system.

Managing contractor work force (operation as well as maintenance) and deploying manpower as per the system requirement.

Conduction training and development programs for self as well for the contractor manpower.

Report immediately any identified unsafe acts or conditions using the company’s

procedures, e.g. STOP, Near Miss Report, Unsafe Condition Report

OPERATION & EFFICIENCY

Daily Key Performance Parameters Monitoring Boiler Efficiency / Sp. Steam/ vacuum/ Condenser - Delta pr. & temp/ Heat Rate / Sp. Coal etc & identify reason of Partial Loading for corrective action

To Organize /Conduct Periodical Equipment performance Test in association with Operation- For Boiler/Turbine/Condenser/ Cooling Tower etc.

Prepare Action Plan to optimize Heat rate & APC

Coordinate with OPN/ELECT/ C&I for each Tripping Analysis & issue of Tripping analysis Report.

Manage documentation of all records for ready reference

Coordinate Coal Stock Verification

Ensure Timely compliance of various statutory requirements e.g. Boiler Certification/ Load test of Lifting Equipment etc.

Daily Analysis of ABT activities & ensuring for +ve UI

Ensure Protection Checking/ schedule Change over of Scheduling & Monitoring of Key measuring Instruments/ Meters for periodical calibration

Equipment/Availability Emergency equipment

Along with, Procurement of spares and maintaining inventory for further processing using internal software
