EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS:
Cost Engineering
Preparation of “CBS - Cost Breakdown Structure (Control Budget)” of projects per the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
Developing “RBS - Resource Breakdown Structure (Histograms)” of manpower and equipment as per the WBS & CBS. Reviewing and updating the RBS on regular basis and prepare the proper mobilization and demobilization plan accordingly.
Preparation of Project Forecast Review (PFR) reports.
Monitoring and reporting the current status (Planned Value (BCWS), Actual cost (ACWP) and Earned Value (BCWP)) and Forecast status (Budget At Completion (BAC), Estimate At Completion (EAC) and Variance) of the project based on control budget using “Earned Value Management System (EVMS)” on monthly basis to the higher management and also giving alert to the project on activity wise overrun and under run.
Claim Management: Preparation of Cost Compensation Claims for Extension of Time (EOT), Idle Manpower, and Acceleration cost.
Preparing the “RBA - Revised Budget Adjustment” and controlling the budget accordingly
Preparing and updating the Variation Order tracking log (Additional work from Client), Invoicing schedule and Project Revenue Forecast.
Reviewing the Budget details of the requests viz. Purchase Order (PO), Subcontractor agreement, Equipment request, Manpower request, Employee Transfer etc.
Reviewing the actual cost booking in the ERP before the approval of Project Manager on task number basis to ensure the accuracy.
Control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
Project cost estimation.
Provide planning and cost controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of customer billing processes, etc.
Perform technical and commercial review of Tenders (Contractors & subcontractor’s quotations) for the preparation of Service agreements.
Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.
Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management’s review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
Quantity Surveying:
Finalizing the subcontractors and allocating works to them.
Preparing the Invoice as per the work performed and certifying the RA bills from clients.
Certification of the Subcontractor’s bills and preparing the payment certificates.
Preparing and updating the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) as per the site progress and make necessary actions if any additional works added to the scope of works.
Participating in the preparation of idle manpower, EOT and loss of efficiency claims.
Cost Estimation:
Scrutinise the scope of work in the tender and calculate the quantity in each category.
Develop and verify the Material Take off (MTO), equipment, manpower etc. required for the successful completion of the project.
Evaluating tender documents, drawings, & schedules.
Estimation of man-hours required for engineering, fabrication, inspection, testing and material handling etc. by interacting with respective departments.
Submit the proposal to proposal manager for review and higher management for approval.
Coordinating with the procurement department to purchase the materials after award.
