Proffesional Experience Summary

• Preparation, review & monitoring of various welding related documents like shop weld plan, weld map, welding instructions, procedures, weld repair procedure.

• Maintain welder continuity record and skill matrix for each welder

• Responsible for Welder’s training, inspection before welding, during welding & after welding

• Visual inspection as per EN -970 & acceptance standard as per ISO 5817 class B

• Verification that dimensions, fit up and weld preparation are in accordance with the engineering drawings.

• Visual inspection and dimensional check of completed weldment against specification requirements and drawings.

• Surveillance during welding to verify compliance with specified procedure including any preheat, interpass temperature control and post heat requirements.

• Establishing that a procedure is available, has been approved as required by the appropriate authority and is being employed in production.

• Witnessing the preparation of test piece and destructive tests, and verifying compliance with appropriate standards and specifications.

• Verification that adequate and valid welder approvals are available and that only approved welder as required are used in production.

• Identify, Analysis and take corrective action of welding related problems and keep the track on record.

(International Railway Industrial Standard), ISO 3834-2 & EN 15085 class I certification.

• Supervision and control of welding consumables.
