WORK EXPERIENCE:
Center for Injury Biomechanics, Materials, and Medicine (Newark, NJ), Research Assistant June 2017 - Present
Segmented a Sprague Dawley rat brain at the most affected regions by TBI when exposed to lab generated blast.
Scaled and replaced the high-fidelity rat brain into a previously segmented rat head.
Developed the finite element model of a rat head to map the strain profile due to Blast TBI
Optimized model inputs to validate the model for exposure to a primary blast
Mecon.Ltd, (India) Intern June 2015 - August 2015
Exposed on major projects involving conveyor belts
Drafted a design of conveyor belt to exhibit the design knowledge acquired for company records.
RELEVANT PROJECTS August 2016 - Present
Development and Simulation of a wind turbine blade to study its interactions with standard wind conditions to study
Designed 3D models of a patella dissector, dental drill and electric wheelchair
Drafted designs of a total hip replacement, a trauma fracture plate, and a total knee replacement
Subjected a total knee replacement to medial and lateral loads to map the stress and strain profile
Mapped stresses and strains of a total hip replacement under the joint reaction forces
Developed a simple pressure vessel and calculated the burst pressure of the pressure vessel using finite element analysis
