Job Description :

Ability to welding plate and pipe in ship repair in all position 2G,3G,4G,6G,1F,2F,3F,4F,

Set up and operated acetylene or electrical arc welding equipment to heat.

Solid skills in use of hand and power tools.

Profound knowledge of appropriate safety practices. Responsibilities :

Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.

Set up components for welding according to specification (E.G. Cut material with powered saws to match measurements)

Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.

Weld components using Manual or Semi- Automatic welding equipment in various positions ( Vertical, Horizontal or Overhead )

Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.

Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety. Requirements :

Proven experience as welder

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

Experience in using electrical or manual tools.

Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing ( Face-shield, Glove ETC..)

Professional Certification ( E.G. an AWS Welding Certificate will be a plus ) Work Experience:
