Researched, designed & developed a new line of liftrucks; worked with Pro/E applications in Windows NT environment; managed all project facets including product design, bill of material creation & final production process.

Lead designer for the Counter Balance Series of Liftrucks.

Involved in custom design of different type of attachments (billet grabs, aprons with side shift fork positioners, mono mast, 2 stage masts, 3 stage masts, FFL mast and HiVis mast) for all range truck capacity.

Designed & managed the entire project of Titan series (8 models):

Designed shape (style) of truck (hand sketches followed by 3D modeling in Pro/Surface), responsible for traction, capacity and stress calculation, design whole chassis with integrated oil tank, design iron cast counterweight, design steer axle, design fiber glass seat frame, design tilt steer column with instruments dashboard (plastic parts – vacuum formed), cooperate with ZF company to create custom drive axle, manage mast design, analyze visibility and ergonomic issues. All control design (hydraulic control valve handles, inching pedal, brake pedal, gas pedal, park brake handle and linkage). Hydraulic routing. Responsible for prototype parts manufacturing. Supervise all welding process and prototype assembly process. Responsible and manage prototype testing and design changing. Create different models with different capacity. Create BOM each models. Created and manage Titan series parts book.

Redesigning all FKS series trucks (13 models) – same responsibility like in Titan series project except cooperate with ZF Company.

Designed electric stand-up truck using some Titan parts. Responsible for capacity and stress calculations. Design all controls (steering system with following cable) and 2 positions hydraulic controls. Design all chassis with integrated oil tank. Design welded lead filled counter weight. Design 2-stage mast with SSFP apron and top clamp for GM press facility.

Redesigned & recalculated pneumatic CLARK truck to P-Series Hoist Liftruck; responsible for re-design of chassis and iron cast counter weight (style, shape and manufacturability); created 6 different models based on capacity. Responsible for BOM, technical documentation and Parts Book creating. Supervise all prototype manufacturing and assembling process.
