Qualifications Requirements
High School diploma
Obtained my GED in the early 80’s from Columbia Basin College.
Plus a minimum of 2 years’ experience with records management and/or document control
3 years in Records Management supporting the Subcontract documents as well as anything else directed by lead.
Utilization of electronic database for both processing and storage of records
EDMS (electronic data management system) being InfoWorks
At least one year experience with purchasing materials and/or supplies including use of a Purchasing Card (P Card) and utilizing the eBOM system.
Ordered supplies for the Reprographics group for 3 years but no hands on P Card experience
Proficient computer and software skills, including but not limited to the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook and Excel. Experience with Adobe/Acrobat and other database skills.
Microsoft Office, 10, Outlook, Excel, Adobe, EDMS.
Effective communication skills for discussing Document Control technical issues with team members and others on the project.
Extensive customer service with a variety of explanations for explaining the correct way to fill out documents and what is required. Knowledge of procedural driven documentation and having to explain the procedures to people submitting documents.
Experience with Asset Suite and overall procurement process at the Hanford Site.
Not familiar with Asset Suite but I did process procurement documents along with other construction documents.16
Knowledge of engineering principles, configuration management, document control, material take-offs, FMP’s, DCN's, and redlines.
16 years working in different areas of Document Control group.
Strong understanding of construction document control processes along with terms, forms, etc., along with the roles and responsibilities that are common to this profession.
Working as an individual contributor following set policies, procedures and desk instructions processing construction documents. I worked at a high level of attention to detail and accuracy. I performed multiple tasks and adjusted priorities as the arose.
