Telecommunications Consultant (as a Sub-Contractor) KEY Constructions Project in the Cantonments area of Accra, May – June 2018

• Consulted on the multi-million dollar project for a smart home

• Suggested changes to old plans and new additions like more Wifi points, cameras, Switches

• Suggested types and brands of devices to purchase

• Supervised the wiring and cabling points to make sure they were well structured and labeled

• Supervised the purchasing of the required logistics for the project

• Terminated cable ends with keystones and faceplates

• Test and find problems with existing wired(LAN) infrastructure.

• Proposed an overhaul of their existing LAN infrastructure as 95% were not working in the rooms and offices.

• Re did their LAN and added a router and switches to make the rooms and offices accessible to the network via cable.

Responsible for the proposal to, and eventual overhaul of existing Ethernet framework of the Hotel and the setting up of a seamless Wifi coverage over the whole premises.
