Day to day management and administration of supporting the Knox County 911 – overview of infrastructure / operating systems:
Management and support of MS Windows 7, 8 and 10. MS server 2008 R-2, server 2012 R-2 and 2016. Hardware that is primarily Cisco. Cisco 6506 switch and ASA 5515 firewall. Have various interfaces VLAN’s with city and county and some private sector contractors (Rural Metro/AMR). Utilization of domain controllers active directory and DNS services for global system use. I take time to understand and implement the managed requirements. MS Office 365 is a crucial and preferred business tools. Currently, the majority of the PC/hardware used is Dell.
