Interviewed financial business representatives for their business needs and translated the needs into technical software requirements by the use of use cases, flowcharts and swim lanes and Agile user stories. Actively participated in the transformation of a legacy CRM system to Salesforce.

From creating user cases and understanding the business needs, determined the specific business application as a solution for the requirements, such as Cloud storage, using SQL instead of another language due to performance issues and existing third party solutions for financial application.

Lead daily Agile Scrum meetings for application development and deployment. Identify roadblocks for software development, resolved these issues and plan for the next day’s activities. Presented burn down charts for review with the product owner. The sprints were 2 weeks in length with no delays migrating to the production platform. Prepared and presented slides at the retrospective meetings, to determine what tasks successful and what tasks needed improvement.

The Agile/Sprint software application used was JIRA with the Greenhooper component to track progress of the sprints. Greenhooper was used to determine and publish timelines for application project milestones reviewed and approved timesheets, produced weekly reports on progress and financial cost of projects.

Managed risks through mitigation plans for code delays and test platform resources. Worked with testers/quality assurance group to verify projects on schedule and provided timetable for production cutover.

Weekly status reports were submitted as well as face-to-face meetings with management to review the progress of the application projects/sprints.

Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (TFS) software was implemented to assign sprint teams, set-up a build system, compile and execute code and management of the release to the production platform.

Lead the implementation of custom written application projects such as financial, inventory control and customer reporting programs. The projects were managed within the Agile Sprint environment. Daily Sprints were held to discuss roadblocks for the day and achievements of the development team. The software development projects ran within the task duration successfully.

Through the project backlog and daily Sprints, projects were completed on time by identify risks and migrating risks and performing dependency and gap analysis. Conducted project assurance reviews, assessed program management execution, quality of deliverables and “go-live” readiness of projects.

Lead cross-functional team to support each release project plan and post Release/Change review. Documented issues and the action taken to resolve the issues, to remain on the release time.

Developed scope documents and project time line for new in-house application releases, server installs and cabling and network connectivity; these functions were developed by TFS software. TFS was also use to determine the code to compile, determine the action for needed triggers a build and tests to run for UAT processing.

Successfully completed a project release, involving business web servers, Oracle databases, application servers, applying maintenance and upgrades to the current release level. The project was under budget and no negative impact to the users, with no unscheduled down time.

The project release involved healthcare programs developed with Java and .Net, by Catholic Health Initiatives, to reduce the manual input of medical records and printout of records. Focus was to work through the implementation, testing, documentation and build of the project, TIBCO project management software was used for the release.

Visual Studio Team Foundation Server (TFS) was used to share and build application code, using Team Foundation version control (TFVC) component for the Global ITO transformation project. Project was to enhance existing applications and replacing legacy applications.

Using Agile Spring methodology, successfully worked with the Global ITO transformation project, tracking exceptions, funding sources and resolving funding limitations. Identifying reduction in expense costs in the vendor transformation for the return of investment (ROI). Developed and implemented the project for converting or eliminating vendor system applications. The result was a cost savings to HP through reduction of vendor contracts.
