Experience Summary:
Justin Richter worked as a civil engineering consultant at GZA, GeoEnvironmental from June 2004 to July 2008 with both customer and contractor facing responsibilities. He left consulting at GZA to pursue a masters in Management and Business Administration to complement his technical background. In May 2010, he joined Raytheon Company as part of their 2-year Operations Development Program. Leveraging his Engineering B.S. and his MBA, Justin has held progressive responsibility in various functional roles during this 3.5 year period. He has demonstrated the ability to influence cross functionally and was promoted to the Sensor Production Integration lead at completion of the rotational program. In July 2013, Justin transitioned to EMC Company (now Dell Technologies) for 2 years to take on new, program management initiatives in procurement while expanding his understanding of software implementation, contracting and program management. He successfully implemented two global procurement programs (eCatalogs and Purchasing Cards) which have since yielded consolidated scale, leverage with preferred vendors, deeper spend analytics and $M’s in bottom line cost savings. In May 2015, Justin was recruited by Raytheon to re-join the company on international assignment in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia leading the operations team. Over the next 2 years, Justin led the production effort and was accountable to both CONUS and OCUNUS leadership, he managed the customer relationship and closed out the 5-year, in-country effort led by 3 different management teams. He has most recently taken on the role of operations manager in the Precision Metal Fabrication department where he is responsible for the cost, quality, schedule and personnel of a ~125+, 3-shift production operation.
