Attached is a copy of my resume complete with education & work experience totaling in excess of 43 million in sales not including smaller service type contracts. I have been involved in construction activities my entire life beginning as a construction laborer to Vice President of Operation / Part Owner of Stodola-Maas Construction where primary responsibilities included purchasing, hiring / yearly reviews of field employees, operating decisions, estimating and project management.

In 1979 I was enrolled in a Carpenter Apprentice Program through Howard Immel Const. Inc. in Green Bay Wisconsin and upon completion later enrolled in a two year Superintendent Training Program at Fox Valley Technical College. The classroom and field experience’s while working for Howard Immel were en-valuable in enabling to start my own business / partnership (F. Maas Construction) in 1985.

In 1988 the business grew adding another partner along with a new company name (Stodola Maas Construction) and a new corporate structure. From 1988 to 1993 my responsibilities focused on managing larger industrial, commercial, chemical and food processing projects. During that time I also managed all field & yard operations, assisted in estimate take-off and finalized labor quantities for our estimating department.

In 1993 to 1999 I moved into full time project management managing / securing projects where I continued support to estimating, development of project schedules, processing of sub-contracts, purchase orders and change orders as well as establishing & completion of punch lists / project close out information.

From 2000 to 2007 my project management responsibility’s expanded to select clients throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois and Upper Michigan competing against a select group of invited General Contractors. These projects entailed partnering relationships where a construction team was generated consisting of select Contractors, Architects and the Owners Project Management Team to achieve on time construction where quality standards were high and cost saving solutions were the main focus in this partnering relationship. In 2010 I worked briefly for Cardinal Construction as an estimator / project manager. In 2011 to 2012 I worked for A. Chappa Construction managing various projects in the Sheboygan area.

From 2013 to present I have worked for Fond du Lac Lutheran Home health and Services managing environmental services. The main campus consists of a 94 Bed Skilled Nursing Facility, a secondary attached 32 Bed Assisted Living Facility, a 24 Unit Independent facility located across town and a 42 Bed semi-independent Living Facility located downtown Fond du Lac.

Job responsibilities entailed scheduling of employees, purchasing, safety director, project management of construction projects, prepare bidding documents for specific in house projects and ensuring all of our (4) facilities are compliant with all Life Safety regulations for yearly surveys conducted by the Dept. Health Services for Skilled Nursing Facilities.

In closing my over 30 years of construction experience in various markets has allowed me the opportunity to be flexible in an ever changing construction industry where time lines have to be maintained and quality a stepping stone for repeat business. I understand labor and production reports / processes and feel my many years of both field and office experience can benefit your company.
