Project Soteria was to encrypt customer’s credit card information at the backend whenever customer makes an online purchase or creates a profile on Safeway website. Project was based on Agile methodology
Responsibilities:
Interacted with Business Analyst team in order to understand the requirements and created test cases accordingly
Uploaded all the test cases on HP ALM and used to track failed, blocked, passed scenario on ALM
Performed front end testing on Safeway website for My Account page and Check out page in order to make sure customer experience remains same after the stores has been tokenized
Performed SQL queries using TOAD in order to make sure CC information has been encrypted at the backend
Tested VPOS (Virtual Point of Sale) to make sure nothing has been impacted in retail stores

Tested everything into our first pilot store which was considered as first LIVE store built in Safeway’s Lab
