Hospitality is my life. I have been in the industry for fifteen plus years. I know every operational aspect of a hotel and I have been successful. Controlled and managed every department (Sales, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Front Desk etc.) with the highest level of expectations.

At the age of 19 years old not knowing what I wanted in life. What career path I would like to take upon with no real guidance I started at the Holiday Inn Rolling Meadows IL as a Front Desk Agent. I had no idea that entering into the hospitality industry was a setup for my life long goals and dream job. At Holiday Inn Rolling Meadows was I inspired by my General Manager. Overseeing the big picture of the property Mr. Alexander demonstrated a complete culture in the hotel. An environment that every department participated. From Housekeeping, Maintenance, Front Desk to Sales etc, would collective help each other and work together to create the culture and to create one goal, to obtain the highest level of customer service expectations possible.

My career took off within the hospitality world, after a few years went from Front Desk agent Holiday Inn Rolling Meadows, Supervisor Holiday Inn Express Ohare, to Assistant GM at the Country Inn and Suites Romeoville, IL. This is where I learn all operational aspect of a hotel. From payroll, A/P payable, A/R receivable within a hotel. Accounting attributes like the checkbook, general ledger, income journal, trial balance, budgeting and forecasting etc. Administrative attributes hiring, coaching/training, firing between departments. Maintaining the property and selling, promoting, retaining new guests and new groups of business. At the Country Inn and Suites Romeoville, IL this is where I learned to become a leader. Developed my own skill sets and personality as a leader.

The platform of my leadership is customer service and cleanness in a hotel that is what is important to retaining returning guests and driving new business. During my management tenure my team is able to obtain a high level of guest scores and maximize profit. Im presenting my experiences with my best intention and to become a General Manager because I worked hard within my past experiences as a Hotel Manager (20years plus) and to come with same basic goals as ownership to drive business and improve guest experiences.
