SELECTED NOTABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Spearheaded adoption of Globally Harmonized System [GHS] (classifying and labeling of chemicals) at the Reeves County Detention Center III facility. Clearly defining chemical hazards by obtaining manufacturer labels for all chemical containers, ensuring compliance with the GHS regulations. Trained staff and inmates on understanding the meaning of label information.

Achieved zero incident/accidents for more than three years at Insight Environmental, Engineering and Construction, Inc. by conducting personnel safety training, including equipment safe practices/use, and inspecting and properly maintaining equipment; creating a safety culture in which personnel focused their attention to safety through all daily activities.

Reduced the incident rate at a corrections facility by slip/trip/fall hazard identification and training. Identified an increase in STF rate during winter months.
