Plant Manager
Streamline startup of new cold-formed steel truss manufacturing plant. Procure, build, and install all equipment necessary to operate the plant. Solicit quotes, screen, and select contractors for activities outsourced during plant setup. Spearhead ongoing operation of the plant as the acting Plant Manager, Quality, and Safety Manager. Interview, hire, and train employees, and conduct performance evaluations. Collaborate with sales, design, and dispatch departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Correspond with corporate safety representatives to create a zero-harm environment. Provide daily direction to supervisors on schedule demands and performance against metrics.
