A.Worked at “BHAVINI” [Bharatiya Nabhikiya Vidyut Nigam Limited] in Contract [M/S DIAMOND ENGINEERING AND ENTERPRISES] which is a Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor under the Department of Atomic Energy – Kalpakkam.

components for the first time at site by industry with close tolerances.

Job Responsibilities:

As an Electronics and Instrumentation Engineer in the Quality Assurance Department,

Controlling and Monitoring of various systems that is associated with the plant.

Erection, Testing and Commissioning of Surface Type Thermocouples, Thermo

Wells (K-Type) and Mineral Insulated Heating Cables mounted on SS/CS

Pipelines, Tanks.

Testing and Commissioning of the

THERMOCOUPLES [K-Type]/RTD’s [2 & 3 wire type],

LEAK DETECTORS [Wire Type, MI Type, Spark Plug Type, SADs].

Process Instruments such as,

Pressure Gauges,

Level Gauges,

Pressure Switches,

Pressure Transmitters,

Level Transmitters,

Level Switches,

Temperature Detectors & Sensors,

Flow Elements,

Solenoid Valves,

Control Valves,

Dampers Valve & Actuators on the Process Pipelines and on Tanks,

Level Probe [(Continuous and Discrete Level Probe Measurement)].

Compiling the CCC [Construction Completion Certificate] for the various

Instrumentation systems associated with the plant.

Configuring the IP for the various Instrumentation and Control systems to

control and monitor the various signals from the field to [MCR] Main Control

Room through Digital Distributed Control System [DDCS].

Testing of various systems like Radiation Monitoring Systems, Security

Surveillance systems.

Termination checking in the [JB] Junction Boxes, [LCC] Local Control Cabinets,

[SPC] Signal Processing Cabinets of various instrumentation systems.

Inspecting and Testing of Control, Power, Instrumentation and Optical Fiber

Cables laid from field to Junction Boxes / Cabinets as per the Approved

Procedure (Cable Routing, Cable Dressing, Glanding and Termination).

Inspecting the Instrument Erection for various piping systems in the plant.

Regulating the Design Change Notices [DCN] and Field Change Notices [FCN] as

per the approved design from the department.

Testing of OFC cables through OPTICAL TIME DOMAIN REFLECTOR [OTDR].

Testing of UTP cables for communication of systems in the plant.

Reviewing the (P&ID) Piping and Instrumentation Drawings, Isometric Drawings

(GA) and Terminal List Array (TLA) of Electronics and Instrumentation Panels

for I&C packages and Piping Packages.

Commissioning of VME based DI, DO, AI, AO cards in various control panels, and

RTUs.

B) Worked at “ECIL”[Electronics Corporation Of India Limited] CONTROL AND AUTOMATION DIVISION[CAD] in Contract [M/S MICROTEC ENGINEERS AND CONTRACTORS] which is an Govt. of India [Dept. of Atomic Energy] Enterprise for BHAVINI- PFBR site at KALPAKKAM for the construction of 1*500 Mwe NUCLEAR POWER PLANT project.

Role : “FIELD ENGINEER”

Department : Erection, Testing, Commissioning, Quality Assurance,

Stores Maintenance.

Erecting, Laying and inspection on Termination of various types of cables like

Instrumentation Cables,
