I have worked as an English teacher since 1982 in college preparatory courses and language schools in Florianópolis, Porto Alegre and Sao Paulo, Brazil. I have also worked as a tutor of English. I have done several translation jobs of scientific articles for the academic community. I worked as a drugstore pharmacist for one year. Nowadays I review articles for the Microbial Ecology magazine.
