Worked with the Port Engineer to determine which equipment maintenance was require and which could be pushed 18 months to maintain the DOD budget for the availability.
Developed, implemented, and final qualifier for all qualified watch standers; conducted training weekly to groups of up to 30 engineers. In turn the Light Off Assessment was completed early receiving an over grade of 95%.

Coordinated daily, weekly, monthly, and all planned and corrective maintenance between the Senior Enlisted Program Manager and 3 other divisions to ensure limited impact to operational status.
Planned out and performed administrative support for all contractors to include ensuring all work authorization forms and gas free/ hot work certifications were completed daily with zero work stoppages during 2 7 month shipyard periods.
Conducted mechanical training bi-weekly for 15 technicians; hands on instruction emphasized equipment overhaul. In turn saving the Navy thousands of dollars by not contracting out pump and valve overhauls with zero failures.
A key member in all daily, 25%, 50%, 75%, and completion production control meetings between all contractors and the Port Engineer during the mid life Extended Dry-dock Ships Availability and 100% computerized upgrade to the engineering plant onboard the USS Chancellorsville. Was recognized for conducting timely emergent seal replacement to one of three gas turbine generators restoring the engineering electrical plant to full capacity and enabling ship to continue its mission with minimal down time and with substantial savings to the government.
Orchestrated the removal and replacement of 2 gas turbine generators and 1 main propulsion gas turbine engine between the overhaul repair shop and Port Engineer completing the task 1 week early.
Supervised and trained 6 technicians on maintaining all fuel oil, lube oil, and boiler water/feed water chemistry records and maintaining 100% inventory in accordance with NAVOSH programs scoring 98% on all inspections.
