Events Coordinator/Office Manager
As Event Coordinator my responsibilities included answering phones and greeting walk in showroom customers. I would assist customers over the phone as well as walk in customers in planning their event. My duties were to create the order and input invoice with specific details for event. I would email or fax order, if needed invoice would be revised and then charged out before date going out. My area of responsibilities when I first started at Aztec was to assist General Manager in any and all areas in daily operation of front desk. My front desk duties consisted of preparing and closing contracts and checking in equipment and calling customers on any shortages or damages and collecting for replacement costs. I was also responsible to ensure deliveries and pickups were made on time daily.
As office manager I was responsible for the day to day operation of office and to assist sales people as needed. I would make decisions to assist with trouble shooting on any rentals experiencing problems. I would approve discounts or suggest a solution to resolve problems to ensure good customer service and keep customers satisfied. Due to financial reasons, I was laid off on May 31, 2013 after 15 years of employment. I was also responsible for weekly scheduling of employees.
