Human Resources responsibilities included staffing (screening, interviewing, hiring and holding orientations), policies, compensation and benefits, retention, training and development, employment laws, worker protection, payroll, monitored and evaluated employees with performance reviews, answering inquiries and addressing any issues brought by management, recommending advancement or addressing any concerns and employee records. Office Manager responsibilities included keeping files organized and up to date, scheduling for up to 250 employees, processing invoices by verifying and sending invoices for payment, benefits for eligible employees, overseeing office activities and ordering needs, assisted theater managers, coordinated travel accommodations as needed, corresponded with staff, guest and corporate employees through email, telephone and postal mail, wrote and distributed memos and company updates, prepared reports and documentation for staff/guest as needed for filing, dealt with guest complaints, holding meetings, conference calls, communicating corporate objectives across the departments with regular guidance and follow-up, main interaction with vendors, contractors and professional services, maintaining the facilities and business operations. Also in my time with Santikos I worked as a Theater Manager where I worked every area of the theater concessions, box office and the floor where I oversaw daily operations. Opening and closing the building as a key holder and supervising and guiding up to 50 employees at any given time.
