University of Texas at Arlington (Graduate Teaching Assistant) September 2017-Present Working as TA for JAVA Programming course and Special Topics in Advance Software Engineering. Responsibilities include assist the professor in the class routine, helping the students to work on their lab assignments. Evaluating the solutions submitted in Java, and conduct doubt clearance sections and also studying, researching and preparing and proctoring assignments and tests. Worked under Professor Stephen Morgan at UTA on a project called “Afribot”, a low budget (aiming $10) line following robot which is helpful for gold mining in backward countries. January 2017-April 2017 Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (Research Assistant) January 2016-April 2016 Developed a Project “Text Recognition in Scene Images”. Recognize, extract and detect the text from image and convert into audible speech which is very much useful for blind people. Cloudica Labs, India (Software Engineer) April 2015 – April 2016 Assisted in the design and development of applications and delivering high-availability and performance. Contributed in all phases of the development life cycle working directly with the client, writing well designed, testable, efficient code. Ensured designs are in compliance with specifications. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review to the design team directly. Cloudica Labs, India (Web Developer Intern) January 2015 – March 2015 Developed a website (Employment Information System) Developed a website for a University. This web application allows users to login, views the employees and their description. Functionalities such as updating the faculty information, mail service are provided. Information about event updates are made available to users. All the standard form validations are implemented when students and employees login to the website. Many PL/SQL procedures are written on top which enables ease of management to record/retrieve data from the database. PHP is used to connect and retrieve the data from MySQL database.

ACADEMIC PROJECTS

IBM Bluemix Cloud (Data Storage and Cryptography) 2017 This project was done to encrypt, decrypt and store files. A Fernet 32 bit key is used to encrypt and decrypt the files. Connects to particular container on particular bluemix account using swiftclient account. Amazon Web Services 2017

Configured EC2 as a web server for using Python Flask application for this project. The user is initially authenticated and then after logging in, the user can upload, download, list and delete images to and from S3. Titanic Data Analysis using MapReduce 2016

This application uses the titanic data set and performs some analysis on the titanic data using the Hadoop MapReduce. Various operations are implemented. Dataset considered is huge, efficiency is high such that the results are obtained within seconds for very large inputs. Image Recognition 2016

This application helps to identify the human faces in a given image. Face is detected and compared with database to recognize. Huge dataset is considered and results are obtained in seconds which proves efficiency of the project. Smart Guard 2015

It is a windows phone application which is used to protect our personal data when the mobile goes missing. Through this, we can track, apply lock on data and encrypt the data when phone is lost.
