Project Objective: to implement a common business transformation/intelligence platform across the Canadian businesses (RSA & Johnson Inc) that will provide a single source of all business claims metrics and management information for the entire organization, accessible from any workstation with the appropriate security approvals.

Project Goals: to design the Landing (Acquisition) Layer and the Integration Layer in Teradata EDW. To produce logical and physical data models and DDL for these two layers. To design the STM mappings -Data Mapping and Lineage documents) from the respective Legacy Source Systems into the Landing and Integration Layers, and to develop, test and implement the ETL and the EDW layers into Production.

Involvement:

Key player in a highly technical project team with the responsibility to deliver RSA Canada's remediated Enterprise Data Warehouse from architecture design to the implementation of large-scale BI/MI solutions that utilize diverse technologies to maximize ROI. Team’s responsibilities included Extract Transform and Load (ETL) Framework design, data acquisition approach, data integration approach, reporting and reconciliation.
