St. Luke’s Shower Program
In a program created to allow those less fortunate to come into the facility to shower, maintain proper hygiene, receive clean clothes, a decent meal, and to socialize in a peaceful environment. Volunteer duties included greeting individuals and presenting a welcoming environment, maintaining order, and collecting, folding, and sorting donated clothes.
Los Cerritos Wetland Cleanup
In a program designed to maintain Marsh and Wetland, volunteer responsibilities included removing debris, weeds, and unwanted plants from Wetlands, as well as other landscaping duties.
Victor Elementary School
Program assigned volunteers with elementary school teachers to assist with daily tasks and errands. Volunteers graded student papers and inputted grades into computer grade program, assisted students with coursework, and maintained classroom order.
