Logistics and Material Manager for the Dundee Engine Plant and served as the World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Logistics and Customer Service pillar lead with a score of ‘3’ in WCM. Part of the WCM team that was awarded the first ‘Silver Award’ for North American FCA Powertrain facilities in May of 2015. Managed the Tigershark engine launch as well as coordinated the build and ship plan between the 3 producing facilities.
Improved supplier to finished goods lead time by 53% through GEMBA and Value Stream Mapping
Reduced Net Working Capital by 51% and Finished Goods by 54% which resulted in a 53% improvement in inventory turnover (15 to 28).

A member of the Powertrain Executive Team responsible for platform lean enterprise initiatives. Responsibilities included the day-to-day operational management for 11 facilities in North America and the launch in 2009 of 2 new NA facilities.
Reduced Powertrain inventory by 33% ($190 M), utilizing lean principles: Value Stream Mapping, build to demand and Kanban.
Initiated strategic review and restructured integrated supply chain processes that achieved system wide cost reductions of $9.8 million (2007 -2010).
Administered the supply chain process for vendor management, capacity and demand planning, material ordering, scheduling and customer shipping process for 1.9 million Powertrain vehicle sets (engines, transmissions, axles, etc.). On-time service reliability improved by 40%. Finished goods turn increased 30%.
Prepared Lean Manufacturing and Full Cycle Problem Solving materials for comprehensive mandatory salary training within the Supply organization and extended supply chain.

Developed and directed the Materials and Supply Chain Management process for the largest manufacturing complex within Chrysler. Responsibilities included the management or $54 million in daily inventory and the management of 2 assembly facilities and 1 stamping facility. Responsible for the launch of a Greenfield assembly operation with an on-site Supplier Park (BIW, Paint and Chassis) and 20 offsite Tier 1 supplier operations.
Provided strategic oversight for the decommissioning of an assembly and stamping facility while simultaneously launching a new Greenfield assembly operation and Supplier Park
Implemented inventory, materials management and sequencing with an onsite Supplier Park and 20-offsite supplier operated plant extensions consisting of 69 commodities and a daily dollar inventory of $32 million.
Oversaw the procurement, logistics and materials management for over 5,000 sku’s and $54 M in daily inventory
Reengineered and integrated supply chain/manufacturing activities. In two years, reduced cost by $11 million and improved delivery performance by 50%. In 2005, facility received the Operational Excellence Award.
