Labor Relations - Managed Labor relations and negotiated contacts in 3 Company Divisions. Skills include Negotiation preparation, Chief Spokesperson, Strike Preparation, Contract administration, Arbitration.
Benefits - Managed Benefits at Corporate level. Negotiation with Vendors, Health and Welfare Plan design and analysis, Pension Administration, Executive Benefit management, 401(k) Plan design and administration, and Government Reporting. Saved $300,000 on average per year through negotiations, Plan design changes, etc.
Compensation - Managed Compensation at the Corporate level. Skills include Incentive plan design and administration (sales and management), Design and administration of Pay for performance systems, Job analysis, Salary/pay system design and administration which resulted in closer alignment of employee work to company objectives.
Deferred Compensation Plans - Researched and updated Companies Deferred Compensation program. Included bringing the plan in to compliance with regulations, writing the plan document, implementing changes, and cloning the employee plan for the Board of Director's which resulted in a competitive leagally compliant plan for the company’s executives.
Sales Bonus Designs - Developed and implemented process of an Annual Sales Bonus Plan review where HR facilitates a review to ensure the plans meet the Business objectives defined for the year. Marketing, Financial and Sales goals are compared to plan designs to determine if we are reinforcing the correct behaviors with the plan designs. This has become an ingrained process for our domestic Sales plans.
Bonus Administration Automation - Over time have developed series of spreadsheets that are used to complete quarterly and annual plan payments, and are used in forecasting plan payments for planning and finance accrual purposes. Sheets complete calculations and generate summary sheets for Salespeople.
Generalist - Policy and Procedure writing, progressive discipline, Employee counseling, Employment, AAP/EEO, Communications, Orientations, Employment Law.
Technology - Very literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access, write advanced formulas, and can create simple database applications. Strong systems orientation.
