As a recent graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania, I am looking to start my career in the field of Human Resources. I graduated from West Chester Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and plan on going back to school in the near future to pursue a Master’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. I have a passion for people and learning and want to be able to apply what I have studied for the past four years, and what I plan on studying in the future, to my workplace.

I have spent the last ten months working as a legal assistant in a busy law office in the Borough of West Chester. After graduation I had aspirations of attending law school to obtain my J.D., but after working in the field I realized that I do not have a passion for the work. Having a driving force behind the work I do every day is of the utmost importance to me. This is why after much consideration I have decided to pursue the field of Human Resources. The experience I gained while working sales and customer service jobs in college taught me that I have a knack for connecting with people and genuinely enjoy listening to their needs and directing them to appropriate solutions.

It is crucial to me to find a position that affords me the opportunity to grow and advance. I want to start my career somewhere that is going to feel my skills are valuable and worth cultivating. I am also looking to relocate to the West Chester area should it be decided that I am the right candidate for the job.
