I was a cashier for 22 years and a grocery clerk. I also was the head of Health and Safety commitee.

I also was their in store recruiter, My duties included interviewing candidates and hired required staff for all the different departments. Helping each new hire fill out all forms, supplying uniforms and all safety and union information required for the job. Prepared all Training documents for each employee. Worked as a safety specialists, Inspecting the whole of the store, inside and out. Informing managment of any issues that could cause injuries. I checked fire extinguishers and all PPE's, eye washing

stations and all equiptment to make sure they are all in proper working condition, inspected first aid kits and ordered supplies for these. I also worked at the customer service desk, assisting customers with returns exchanges,answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate departments and or management. Closing the store, pulling the tills and pulling all reports for managment for the next day.I was also in charge of the clip strips, ordering,pricing and displaying them in appropriate spots.
