Project Description

In Phase 2 of IMPACT (Information Management Protecting Adults and Children of Texas) Modernization, the IMPACT system will be modernized into a modular, mobile-enabled application with automated workflows and self-service capabilities for Child Protective Services, Adult Protective Services, Child Care Licensing, and Prevention and Early Intervention program areas. This will improve efficiency and effectiveness of caseworkers, streamline operations, and reduce their administrative burden, enabling them to spend more time with their clients.

Responsible for translating BRD into functional specifications and test plans. Closely coordinated with both business users and developers for arriving at a mutually acceptable solution.

As a functional lead, designed the TO-BE and AS-IS functionalities that included High level business process flows, Use Case narratives & “Hand offs” to other business processes outside the functional areas.

Led the design and development of a reporting data module for a “Complaints against Child Abuse” integration portal of SACWIS (Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System) Application for State of Texas DFPS. This lead to statically significant increase in work order response and completion percentages, cost savings, budget planning, and additional business functions.

Project Description

The new Registration and Licensing System of Ontario (RLSO) is an enterprise services-based platform using a suite of Oracle software products as a foundation. The system, implemented as part of MTO's Road User Modernization Program, replaces the existing 40-year-old legacy licensing and registration system with a modern, scalable, client-friendly solution. The platform, which does away with manual and paper-based processes, automates licensing and registration and performance monitoring services for approximately one million commercial clients and provides the foundation for a 'one client/one record' integrated driver, vehicle, and carrier system.

Collaborated with business partners and IT team to develop comprehensive and concise user stories and business requirements to help drive Registration and Licensing solutions, in a complex and high volume processing environment.

Documented requirements in Business/Functional Requirement Documents (BRDs/FRDs) and created Rules Matrix tied back to use cases for Siebel CRM. Also documented all training modules for client training purpose.

Created the following use cases and functional design specs: Driver Licensing, Vehicle Registration, Commercial Vehicle Titling, Registration Renewal, Leased Vehicle Registration etc.

Developed reporting solutions for large datasets (Big Data) using SQL, SSRS and SSIS. Extensively analyzed legacy data models and provided insights for future data structures and data warehouses. Different turnaround time reports (TAT) were developed which helped the company in identifying gaps in the business process.

Project Description

The WMATA Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) project will produce a single source system for all procurement activities and contract documents. The system will drive process standardizations and discipline throughout the procurement lifecycle providing enhanced visibility and integration of plans, solicitations, and contracts from initiation to closeout. Additionally the system will provide automation and self-service features for internal and external transactions as well as workflows from Advance Procurement Planning through Contract Close. The system will be the single centralized repository for managing procurements and audits.

Worked closely with client to analyze Contract Management System requirements and assisted PM by planning, scheduling and estimating project activity to create an extensive Project Plan. Interacted with clients to elicit architectural and non-functional requirements like performance, scalability, and maintainability

Successfully proposed and developed a new access control mechanism and implemented WMATA’s security matrix using Oracle PeopleSoft to ensure proper role based access controls (RBAC) for over 80 custom roles, 40 responsibilities and menus spanning over 1000 new users. This involved creating user groups based on departments in WMATA, roles of the users, and created access levels for the groups to give the required access to various menus and pages thereby preventing unauthorized access of data.

Developed ETL by use of SQL for extract on Oracle and MS SQL Server databases, Pervasive Data Integrator for transforming data and home developed Load utility to integrate WMATA's Contract Management's application data from a relational database into their star schema data warehouses, volume of data averaging a few hundred GBs.
