present Requests data prep took 1.5 hrs and kept getting longer. Built reporting and invoicing program with UI, data capture, and ETL that cut manual processing to 12 minutes. Used Excel VBA, Power Query scripts, RegEx, logical algorithms, and Tableau to automate critical tasks.

2017 DELTA DENTAL OF CALIFORNIA dental benefits leader San Francisco, CA

Product group lacked a clear picture of impact of software launches and product redesign events on sales. Built interactive dashboards for Google Analytics and conversion rates metrics that measured online shopping trends and highlighted missing and not tracked segments.

Center of Excellence (CoE) needed to perform a deep dive and understand customer journey along with items and tasks of enrollees starting a new plan. The challenge was to combine and analyze Qualtrics onboarding survey numeric and text answers, operational and members demographic, plan, and line of business data. Visualized survey data, NPS, satisfaction, usefulness, and helpfulness questions, uncovered unexpected relationships and helped product owners gain better insight into enrollees onboarding process, success factors and opportunities. Specific business actions were recommended to improve NPS, satisfaction, and reduce costs.

Designed visual tools that allowed the business to make important discoveries about the customer acquisition data, improve business processes, track products performance more accurately and helped identify both gaps and opportunities about the data and metrics.

Supported data needs for several NPS surveys, built custom Tableau aggregation and calculation metrics for dental claims and procedures.

Used Tableau and multiple data sources to build multi-stage data processing tools for one of the leading retailers to stitch rich and standard online marketing campaigns with transactional data and analyze their effectiveness using Tableau, Amazon Web Services S3, SFTP.

2016 NARVAR post-purchase experience analytics platform for retailers San Bruno, CA

Built and optimized Tableau visualizations consuming massive amounts of data from Amazon Redshift data warehouse and providing insights about post-purchase customer experience, including order tracking, shipment and fulfillment monitoring, returns and delivery optimization.

Recommended data structure changes in Amazon Redshift database that reduced visualization loading time from 90 sec to 10 sec.

2015 APPLE Global Business Intelligence (GBI) Tableau Center of Excellence Sunnyvale, CA

Tableau users at 13 business units relied on outdated processes, infrastructure, and documentation. Recruited to partner with Tableau product manager, help build CoE, and co-manage the largest enterprise Tableau deployment at Apple. Advised, onboarded, provided customer service, supported strategic roadmap and server user growth of 70% YoY.

Built visualizations, wrote and analyzed custom SQL for PostreSQL repository metadata and Teradata to effectively analyze user interaction with data and recommend solutions to improve efficiency of Tableau assets, reduce extract generation and processing time by 22%, improve visualization rendering, and optimize SQL queries for 410 publishers.

Forged partnerships, built high-performance, service-oriented teams, coordinated projects, encouraged information sharing, motivated Tableau platform teams: admins, EDW Performance, Single Sign-On and Provisioning, Application Product Support, Customer Enhancement Team, Training.

Drove proactive communication process. Advised customers world-wide, reimagined and rebuilt customer portal and wikis with HTML5, drafted newsletters with Tableau best practices and solutions. The new processes increased effective self-service, reduced licensing and onboarding time from 12 days to 1 day and accelerated platform awareness.

Conceptualized innovative onboarding process that used a decision tree and combined multiple interactor and publisher requests and streamlined links to ticketing system with template service requests to be filled, cloned, and submitted.
