Worked mainly on the BAB CARBONATE RESERVOIR which has seen gas injection into the gas cap and water injection at the base of the reservoir with the purpose to squeeze the effluent between the injections. However, the results did not turn out as planned because of the excessive injection pressure that was used. The water injected at the base of the reservoir moved the oil into the gas zone and the gas injected into the gas cap which was anticipated to move the gas into the oil zone. With al these problems tom start with our objective was to remedy as much as we could the problem at hand. In addition, a CO2 gas injection was prescribed for this reservoir. Thai pilot project concerned injection in the northern part of the reservoir.
