Project:- Worked on more than 30 sugar mill boilers.

Boiler Pipe Line :- 1) Preparation of P & I diagram for Boiler, 2) Pipe line size selection (O/D & Thickness), 3) Pipe material selection as per applied duty condition for steam, hot/cold water & chemical .4) pipe line stress analysis,elongation & support ( whether

rolling or fixed support) selection of hot water & steam pipe line by M/S.-

M.W.Kellogg’s chart method.& as per M/S. Spirax Sarco ( U.K) guideline 5)

preparation of arrangement & details drawings for main steam piping drawing,

soot blower piping, blow off piping, integral piping,main feed piping & all other

parts piping sections.

Bought Out Items :- 1) Making technical spec. sheets of all bought items like I/D,F/D, O/F fans, BFW pumps, WT pumps, all gate/globe valves of alloy/carbon/forged steel & C.I constructions for steam/water/chemical application respectively(size range from 15 NB to 350 NB as per ASA/BS/DIN specification), other piping mountings fittings like safety valves(for drums & super heater), R.W.L indicator, WL gauges, pressure gauges, temperature indicators, steam traps, strainers, C.B.D valves, mud discharge valves, BFW control valve, deaerator feed & steam control valve etc & accessories like Deaerator, Soot blower, motors & starter for all rotating equipment’s., Boiler insulations & refractory materials & Raw materials like furnace tubes, economizer coils, super heater coils, tubes for air pre heater & alloy steel, carbon steel & black pipes. 2) Preparation of valve schedule, 3) Pipe line size selection (O/D, thickness), 4) Pipe material selection for steam, hot /cold water & chemical line usage, 5) Checking supplier’s documents & drawings & also giving technical acceptance approval

Boiler Pressure Parts :- 1) Design thickness calculation as per IBR & ASME code of all pressure parts like furnace tube, drums, W.W .headers, S.H. headers, Economiser headers,

Eco. & Super heater coils ( primary & secondary), main steam distribution header

etc. 2) Preparation of arrangement & detail drawings for Pressure parts Assembly,all the headers, B.F. tubes(F.B. Tubes, R.B. Tubes, S.W. Tubes, F.W.R. Tubes, W.W.R.

Tubes & D.T. Pipes), Economiser & Super heater coils, Boiler Drums & main steam

distribution header as per IBR & ASME guidelines.
