Led current plant site to achieve VPP Star Status and Corporate Operational Excellence Presidents Award in 2015. This site is historic Houston Chemical Complex that has experienced 3 explosions and 30 fatalities in past 25 years. Union involvement was stalled and my leadership encouraged participation. This VPP certification audit had OSHA auditors from local, regional and Washington DC offices to ensure all signatories where convinced site was ready.

Provide Board of Directors and EHS Executive Policy Committee with quarterly updates on EHS sustainability efforts.

Developed, authored and implemented multiple global and facility Environmental, Health and Safety procedures.

Participated in Process Safety Management and Management of Change relevant to operations in accordance to OSHA 29CFR 1910.119 including Process Hazard Analysis’s, HAZOP’s, and FMEA’s.
