Professional experience
Accounting:
Was responsible for all the departments of a hotel, which included: reception, cleaning, rooms, kitchen, and bar and restaurant cost centers
Created the initial budget for the hotel in 2010 with its expected sales levels, and did the costing and budgeting for the hotel for the next three years
Designed and implemented the process of the accounting system by the use of pre-numbered invoices, purchase vouchers, and a daily stock taking system for the kitchen, bar and restaurant

Created the General Ledger accounts at Skyway Hotel from when its operations began in 2010
Recorded daily transactions in Sales, Purchases and General journals, and posted those transactions to the ledger accounts
Did costing by apportioning food items like meat, for weighing and costed the food items according to their price and number of portions used in a dish
Did the same for other food items like millet and cornmeal for local dishes, and potatoes for fries
