Responsible for developing man hours, materials and subcontractor estimates for repair, renewal, or modification of U.S. Navy and commercial ships. Utilizing technical manuals, drawings, ship checks and other documentation to prepare cohesive estimates. Incorporate changes, material and subcontractors quotes into estimated work packages for fixed price and cost plus contracts. My background is solid in the machinist and rigging fields.

SHIP REPAIR & SHIP CONSTRUCTION

Supervised all machinery repairs on commercial and government vessels assigned. Allocated machinists for their daily work assignments and tracked progress of the jobs on the vessel to insure safe completion of them according to the contracts. Developed and conducted all machinists training for 50 personnel. Developed work packages and interpreted specifications, blueprints and drawings associated with the machinery related work. Submitted condition reports and generated growth work estimates for machinery related work items.
