AXA Investment Managers (London). Client Reporting Analyst (Fixed Income). March 2015 – May 2017 Main area of work was the production of the reports for instituional clients invested in Fixed Income

(SmartBeta). I started with London clientele; by the end of my carier at AXA IM my number of clients more than doubled and included the largest clients from orther countries that were allocated to me specifically due to complexity of their reporting requirements and importance to the business. During my time I had to demonstrate exeptional analytical and problem-solving competencies to complete all the work to the highest standards and within strict deadlines.

I worked closely and provided support to Fund Managers, Portfolio Engeneers and Investor Relationship Managers in London and Paris offices.

Key responsibilities included:

Stanhope Capital (London). Middle office analyst. September 2014 – February 2015 In my time at Stanhope Capital, one of my key responsibilities was to ensure data received from external sources was complete and accurate, and was subsequently entered correctly into the in-house systems. I communicated on a daily basis with a large number of custodians in different countries, to ensure the correctness of transactions such as purchase and sale of securities, switches to different share classes and payment of fees.

I was responsible for managing the receipt and transmission of monies to and from client accounts. This involved liaising with the compliance team to ensure procedures were adhered to and for documenting all steps and communications so that a full audit trail was held on record. I dealt with a wide variety of different asset classes such as equities, fixed income, private equity and real estate.

My duties also extended to the production of the monthly client reports, dealing with ad-hoc queries from the Portfolio Manager and reviewing the work of other team members. I primarily used in-house systems and Excel. Key responsibilities included:

x Finalising trades and forward contracts in the in-house reporting system. x Daily reconciliations of cash and holdings with the custodian and explaining the breaks. x Checking custodian contract notes to ensure correct purchase or sale of securities (quantity, price, type, amount, share class etc).

x Checking commissions, bank fees, taxes charged by the custodians. x Verifying custodian fees and resolving discrepancies. x Liaising with custodians to ensure that trades are settled in a timely manner, verifying the execution terms. x Investigating overdrafts and sending instructions to Portfolio Managers to arrange cover. x Producing weekly sign-off of reconciliations for selected custodians. x Producing special client reports.

February 2011 – August 2014 I was the senior member of the client reporting team, with responsibility for producing reports for many of the company’s largest clients by fund size.

My reports were the most complex with custom data analysis,including the manual calculation of additional financial ratios, extended reporting requirements and enhanced data visualisations. I managed competing priorities with tight deadlines, whilst ensuring that the reports were accurate and all queries were fully resolved, while also working on a number of ad-hoc projects where required. I produced additional performace calculations and analysis as well as NAV and cashflow forcasts when requested. I also provided training and supervision to other team members on a daily basis.
