Oversaw all warehouse operations of service parts in the United States; parts available for service and repair sales at a global corporation committed to providing leading industrial automation and information. Administered system parameters including planning, forecasting, and purchasing. Controlled the supplier repair center requisitions from distribution centers around the US on Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) products and Rockwell product line. Coordinated the global sourcing of goods and products that are out of production and hard to find. Managed inventory levels of all obsolete and dispositioned inventory levels within the warehouse operations.

Key Achievements:

Navigated complex matters through continuous improvement utilizing the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) approach derived from Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification obtained in 2010. Practiced Lean value-stream mapping, transactional Lean, and manufacturing Lean Implementation applications to achieve Business Process Development sustainability.

Produced a $1M annual inventory reduction over the past 3 consecutive years by tracking and monitoring the system parameters while achieving inventory goals. Regulated $22M of inventory for two US distribution centers (Champion and Memphis).

Achieved a consistent on-time fill rate of 95% for the fiscal years of 2014-2017; this was on all parts with three pieces or more of sales a year. Monitored and reported monthly metrics, reaching AEIP requirements for the customer support and maintenance departments within the corporation.

Implementation of RISO (Rockwell Inventory and Service Optimization) tool as a planning and scheduling support aid. Curtailed the total volume in stock and satisfied cost inventory reduction targets for the fiscal years 2014-2017. Led the surge in COGS as far as part availability, stimulating growth for the business unit for sixteen straight quarters in the metrics reports.

Implemented supporting efforts for store room negotiations, embedded staff members, and third-party labor contractors at several OEM plant branches for the 2014 through 2017 fiscal year spending $1.8M per year in third party labor annually.

Managed scheduling for 260 employees with a 24 hour seven day a week rotating shift production operation. As purchasing manager, had supervision of office staff, inventory stores and receiving dock. As plant manager I was in charge of 260 direct-reporting staff members. Supervised daily workflow on plant floor operations and tracked forecasted labor hours in correlation with actual production schedule. Administered daily production audit meetings at communication boards on the plant floor to discuss bottlenecks and designate resolutions with a 24-hour deadline for objectives. Deployed corrective actions to neutralize restricted flow such as print dimension, tooling availability, raw material, and all other production issues. Directed component part specifications, finished goods, and stocking replenishment programs.

Key Achievements:

Regulated national and global orthopedic surgical instrument procurement worth $4M in finished products. Purchased raw materials ($4.85M of titanium, $4.50M of stainless steel, and $2.40M of aluminum), as well as outside services support.

Executed a plant closing and the transportation of purchased goods, raw materials, and machinery to the new facility. Eradicated $1M of past due goods from Germany within the first four months of production.
