I am an experienced manager/supervisor with a 20 year proven track record. I have 5S and Lean manufacturing experience going through the Gemba on-line classes. I have outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Creative problem solver with ability to resolve conflicts. Solid background in both union and non-union companies. I have strong leadership qualities able to work all shifts. Proven ability to build and develop and train an effected work team to reach highest levels of efficiency. A hands on supervisor willing to lead by example.

Shipping Supervisor (May-2011 – Present)
Pylon Manufacturing @MIS II, South Bend Indiana
Make sure all safety rules are followed. Lead 5S and Lean Manufacturing in the Shipping Department. Train shipping personnel for startup company using BPICS and BOSS Computer System. Ensure that all orders are picked, audited, staged and shipped on time. 24 months and counting for 100 percent on time delivery. Follow all shipping requirements for major customers such as WALMART, Home Depot, Dealer Tire, Autozone, Advance Auto and COSTCO. Make sure proper shipping documents are filled out correctly. Cross train all employees in all aspects of shipping department. Cycle count picking racks ensuring correct inventory. Make sure trucks are loaded correctly without damaging product.
Warehouse Supervisor (Feb-2011 – May-2011)

Make sure all GMP and safety rules are followed. Train and document Warehouse personnel on GMP\'s and safety rules and SOP\'s. Make sure that production lines are staged up to 48 hrs in advance with correct components and lot numbers as requested with the I/O\'s. Pre-stage orders for shipments to our customer\'s. Maintain inventory accuracy through the bar code system. Double check all completed requests and I/O\'s making sure that only requested lot numbers and item number\'s have been pulled and staged. De-stage material as requested when Work Order\'s have been completed. Making sure requests for West plant are loaded onto shuttles and then having them moved to West plant. Inventory of skids and pallets used. Make sure that materials are move safely through out the plant. Utilize and move man power based on where it is needed on any particular night.

Trained and help set up Quality Department for testing of the Ensolite stock. Traveled to customer\'s plant to follow up and to check quality of stock for any problems. Troubleshooted any problems that would come up with the stock based on test results.
