Title: Wind- Solar and other Energy Resources Power Generating Hybrid Car
Duration: 6 Months
Role: Acted as Team Member and engaged in many different activities like conducting project analysis, power resource & design implementation and project report documentation.
Team Size: 5
Description:
The basic principle of solar car is to use energy that is stored in a battery during and after charging it from a solar panel
The charged batteries are used to drive the motor which serves as an engine and moves the vehicle in reverse or forward direction. The electrical tapping rheostat is provided so as to control the motor speed.
This avoids excess flow of current when the vehicle is supposed to be stopped suddenly as it is in normal cars with regards to fuel. This idea, in future, may help protect our fuels from getting extinguished.
But we can use another energy resources like wind energy, sound energy, shock absorbers and many others
Power generating hybrid car can be run using 4 natural sources of energy such as solar energy, wind energy, sound energy and shock absorber. The electric energy and solar energy are 2 common sources of energy which is generally used in vehicles. But with the combination of four sources i.e. in our project increases the efficiency of the vehicle of about 25-30% as compared to electric and solar energy vehicles. With the help of all 4 sources of energy battery is charged and that stored energy is used to move steeper motor.
